  MYTHICAL CREATURES IN ANCIENT TIMES

  did dragons and the phoenix really exist or were they just mythical creatures?

  the dragon is of course, mentioned in revelation and is symbolic, but it's mentioned so often in other old writings, that i'm not sure if they just went extinct or what.

  i was reading 1 clements earlier (written around 95 ce) and it specifically mentions the phoenix as living in arabia (below)

  Initially, I couldn't meet the impossibly high standards. Eventually though, I learned that it was all lies. This has left me, like many others, justifiably distrustful of high control groups.

  They are giving my kids notebooks for the special assembly. Why?

  now if they were only giving them to my children, i would raise cain, because it is an obvious attempt to imply that they have to provide what i am not.

  it is also an influence ploy, in that by giving them a gift, it obligates them to use the gift.. but they gave them to all the kids and everyone at the book study.

  the sweet part was that i actually showed up.

  The problem was not "moral poverty" of blacks or any other racially defined group. The official NO evacuation plan was "everyone will drive out of here". Since that excluded the poor - white, black, and other - THAT was THE problem.

  it took me a bit of reading through some posts to realize that this site is exactly what i have been looking for, for such a long time!!

  people to share my blown away realization i experienced after i quit going to the meetings and went against my mother!

  it feels great to see people who have gone through and felt the same as i and who have taken the steps to change their life.

Therefore, to keep ourselves safe, we must ban dihydrogen oxide and eradicate this dangerous chemical compound from the face of the Earth!   Lessons from Art Class - looking and seeing

  i learned a new way of seeing in art class.

  for months i left class with a blinding headache, as my brain strived to "see" what i had never noticed before.

  this new way of "seeing" interfered with my viewing pleasure, as my overactive mind dissected people's faces in to shapes and shades.

  I, too, have such an eye. However, my hands lack the finesse required for recreating what I see. So, I write. I also have such an ear. Again, my hands fail me. Luckily, writing requires little manual dexterity. One only needs to see, hear, and speak.
